•Pawnee County consists of approximately 756 square miles of land and water for the responsibility of Deputies to patrol.

•Pawnee County was established in 1867 with Larned being designated as it’s County Seat.  With this designation, Larned is home to the Pawnee County Courthouse, as well as the Pawnee County Jail.  

•The sheriff’s office serves rural communities including the towns of Burdett, Rozel, Garfield, Ash Valley, and Zook; as well as overall jurisdiction of Larned.
